Development and launch of the B2B shop system stahleinkauf.de for customers from industry, metal construction and the skilled trades.

Expansion of storage capacity

Purchase of a neighbouring property and partial conversion into a new enclosed warehouse, creating additional capacity for storage and material processing.

Expanded product portfolio

By taking over a sheet metal processing business, the company significantly expanded its services with professional sheet cuts, bending work and custom constructions.

Digital services expanded

The online steel shop was extended with new functions. Customers can configure head and base plates for beams online with individual drill holes.

Investment in modern production

A new production hall and a modern automatic band saw enabled efficient series cuts and prepared the company for further expansion.

Growth through technology

Rising demand for material processing led to investments in modern band saw technology, improving capacity and precision.

Online shop relaunch

The online shop system was completely redeveloped with a stronger focus on modern media and a better user experience.

Sixth generation

Christian Heinrich joined the management as the sixth generation and continued the family tradition.

New property, new possibilities

Under J?rgen Heinrich's leadership, the company acquired a 1,000 m2 property from Deutsche Bundesbahn and planned an additional warehouse hall.

J?rgen Heinrich took over the management in the fifth generation.

Continuity in difficult times

After the death of Franz Huisgen, his stepdaughter Edith Heinrich and her husband Artur Heinrich took over the management and guided the company through the war and post-war years.

Strategic new building

Johann's son Franz Huisgen built a new company building on today's Bahnhofstrasse in Uerdingen with a rail connection, creating better storage and logistics options.

The foundation

1820 marks the year in which Franz Huisgen took over the company in the original house on Niederstrasse in Uerdingen and gave it his name. His son Johann successfully continued the business.
